Multicultural support for a new smartcard ticketing system
NSW Transport started trialling the new Opal card system for contactless ticketing in late 2012, and the roll out of the system has taken place across the Sydney metropolitan area as well as the Central Coast, Hunter Region, Blue Mountains and Illawarra regions. SBS In Language worked with NSW Transport to translate all the public information and marketing collateral into the top 10 languages used in NSW.

Supporting the top 10 languages used in NSW
Launching a mass-transit product in one of the most linguistically diverse cities in the world makes it absolutely necessary to communicate to customers in a range of different languages, and that means getting the translations exactly right. SBS In Language produced equivalent material for the top 10 languages used in NSW.
